Ende 2007 bekam ich nach Anfrage bei The Pistol Whips die Möglichkeit ein Interview mit ihnen zu führen. Ich rief euch auf, mir Fragen zu schicken, die ich an die Band weiterleitete. Nun bekam ich eine Antwort und das hier ist die Botschaft von The Pistol Whips.

1. Are you going to play concerts in Europe, espacially in Germany?
2. You are only two on your MySpace Site. Why and what happened with Raz?
3. You wrote about a cd which you wanted release, but nothing happened. Can I buying a cd of you now? Where can I buy these cd?
4.On concerts do you think you working with the fans or are you mostly concentrated on your own work?

1. James is a well known actor, is he thinking about filming in the futur or will he go completly to the music?

Answer
Judy, there are a lot of questions here. I'll do my best to answer as many of them as possible.
We've been playing for just over a year and a half as The Pistol Whips. Our influences range from Blues and Classic Rock to Old School Punk Rock and 90's Grunge. We all put something different in to the mix of our music.
There are a lot of different artists we like. It's very hard to pick a favorite.
We are temporarily on a little break, because James is in the process of directing his film The Devil's Run. Jinny is one of the actors in the film.
The song we put the most work in to is probably "Numb". We worked that one in to the ground.
We are international, we've played shows in New Zealand and the states and hopefully we will go around the world in the future.
We self produce our music out of our recording studio in Los Angeles.
We play music because we love it. No matter what happens with the band it will always be a part of our lives.
C.D. production is temporarily on hold. We love that you want a c.d. and we'll try to get you something to rock to as soon as possible. In the meantime, thanks for sticking with us.
